Just as each pet is unique, so are the issues, questions and feelings that each person experiences after a pet dies.

With more than 15 years of providing pet loss and anticipatory grief support, I know that what each person needs during these difficult times can be very different. And how the loss happens plays a big role in this.

Examples of times when pet loss or anticipatory grief support can be helpful:

  • You have an older pet that is starting to decline and you are worried about them.

  • Your pet has recently been diagnosed with a serious health issue or terminal disease.

  • Your pet died suddenly, whether from a health issue or an accident.

  • Your pet was also a service animal and helped you maintain your independence and safety.

  • You live alone or have a limited support network and your pet was your primary companion.

  • You are experiencing the loss of a beloved pet for the first time and you want to know what to expect during the grief and healing process.

Through one-on-one remote support tailored to your needs and specific situation, I can help you discover positive ways to cope with the complicated feelings of grief and learn how to build reslience and inner strength so you can eventually work through the most painful moments of grief and move towards healing and gratitude for the time you had with your precious friend.
