Reiki Healing for Pets
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique for stress-reduction and relaxation that promotes improved health and wellbeing. It combines elements of ancient hand-on-healing techniques, Traditional Chinese Medicine and mindfulness meditation, to create a gentle system for improving wellbeing and facilitating healing of mind, body and
spirit.
Reiki works on the premise that all living beings have an innate ability to heal themselves and that disease, pain and emotional distress are all the results of imbalances -- physiological, emotional or spiritual. By reducing stress and tension in the body, improving the flow of energy within the biofield, and calming the anxious mind, balance can be restored and healing can begin to take place.

Because Reiki is an energy based healing technique that works on the principles of Quantum Physics, it can be done either hands-on or remotely (Distance Reiki). Animals, being such open spirits, are generally very receptive to receiving Reiki and it is particularly useful for animals who have anxiety or trust issues or those who are dealing with stress from chronic pain or illness.
Reiki is NOT a magic cure -- there is no such thing. It is however, a proven supportive therapy that is extremely safe and gentle. And unlike many other therapies, there are no adverse effects from Reiki and it will not interfere with any other conventional or holistic treatments.

30 Minute Distance Reiki Session - $50
In-Person Animal Reiki Session - $100 (available in Milwaukee/Wauwatosa, Wisconsin area only)

A brief consultation via email or phone will take place prior to your session to gather more information and answer any questions you have. Payment can be made via Paypal and must be paid in advance. Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will not be refunded.
How Can Reiki Help My Pet?
Because animals are, by nature, so sensitive to the energy and non-verbal communication that we share with them, Reiki is an ideal practice for use with animals of any age, temperament and state-of-health. Reiki can be especially helpful for pets struggling with anxiety or trust issues, chronic pain, cancer, or at the end of life. Generally, animals become more relaxed during a Reiki session and may display signs of "accepting' the treatment by laying down, deeply sighing, stretching out or even falling asleep.

Because Reiki is an energy healing technique, it can be used either in person or remotely. Remote sessions can be done at a time when your animal is typically relaxed and not distracted (typically in the morning or later in the evening) and provide similar benefits to in-person sessions. ​​​
